Cooking Classes

I am fully booked through July and my books are closed at this time. No new classes will be scheduled.

Whether you are new to the kitchen, looking to expand your recipe repertoire, or interested in a fun time with your spouse, family, or friends, I can create a cooking class for you.  Classes are hands on, allowing you to participate in each step, and end with the chance to feast on the delicious dishes you just prepared. Think about date nights, supper clubs, a unique birthday party, or small team building event! These make memorable experience gifts as well.

Scheduling

Classes are scheduled Thursdays – Saturdays based on my availability. Daytime and evening classes available. Contact me to book a date and set your menu. Gift certificates also available.

Topics

Classes can focus on a single topic like bread baking or demystifying seafood or stir fry at home. You can choose an entree and sides to make a meal and have go to recipes ready for your next dinner party or take some stress out of weeknight meals. Learn the ins and outs of creating elegant charcuterie boards and cheese pairings. Choose a few festive hors d’oeuvres to create a party ready menu for your next event. Or browse my weekly meal service menus on Instagram for even more inspiration.

Cost

Classes take place in the Wild Abandon Kitchen and the base cost is $60 per person (if 2 or more). This is for a 1.5 to 2 hour class with 2 to 3 recipes based on complexity and cooking times. Additional class time may be booked and will be quoted individually.

I recommend a maximum of 5 people for hands on classes. We can accommodate a few more as a demonstration style class with limited hands on elements. Pantry staples are included, but your chosen menu will determine additional food cost for perishable and specific ingredients needed. Food cost is still quite variable and subject to change, but expect $15-$25 per person in addition to the base class cost depending on chosen menu and necessary ingredients.
